9.14.26 Update - Urgent needs / help update

Current Needs & Disability Update — September 2026

By Dalyla

I am sharing this update because I am in urgent need of disability‑informed support, legal assistance, and community help. My situation has become overwhelming due to a combination of disability regression, legal deadlines, housing crises, domestic violence displacement, and the failure of multiple agencies to provide accommodations or services.

This is not easy to write, but it is necessary.

My Disability & Current Condition

I am a neurodivergent disabled adult, formally diagnosed with ADHD, and I am seeking updated evaluation for Autism. Since two accidents on May 10th and May 14th, I have experienced:

  • Severe executive dysfunction

  • Cognitive overload

  • Speech regression (speaking causes throat pain, migraines, sensory overload)

  • Cognitive regression

  • Loss of ability to manage daily tasks

  • Loss of ability to manage my business (Hey There’s Dalyla, LLC)

  • Increasing disability symptoms throughout 2024–2026

I have documentation explaining my disability, the urgency of my needs, and the harmful impact when I do not receive accommodations. However, I have not had access to my files or mail due to displacement.

I need updated disability evaluation, formal Autism assessment, and disability services immediately.

Housing Crisis

I own two properties, both of which require urgent support:

1. Fulton County Residence (Current Temporary Address)

I am temporarily living in my Fulton County home while repairing and renovating it for both residence and business use. This home needs:

  • Repairs

  • Cleaning

  • Safety improvements

  • Disability‑informed support to manage the process

2. Dekalb County (Decatur) Property

This home is not safe due to domestic abuse and violence. Additional issues:

  • My spouse abandoned the home and left belongings

  • All financial responsibility was placed under my name

  • I was displaced in a domestic violence shelter since July

  • I have not had access to my mail, files, or disability accommodations

I urgently need legal permission from the divorce court judge to:

  • Remove or store my spouse’s belongings

  • Clean and repair the home

  • Prepare it for rental or business use

  • Prevent financial loss or foreclosure

Legal Emergencies

I have multiple urgent legal matters that require disability accommodations and extended time:

  • Jury trial scheduled for September 21st — I do not have a lawyer or disability accommodations

  • Divorce proceedings

  • Domestic violence‑related legal matters

  • Identity theft and fraudulent financial activity

  • Housing and property disputes

  • Disability discrimination

  • EEOC “Right to Sue” — I cannot navigate the process without accommodations

  • Personal injury evaluation related to the May accidents

  • Loss of workers’ compensation and employment

I need disability‑informed legal advocacy immediately.

Barriers to Support

I have already contacted:

  • Legal Aid

  • Disability Link

  • GAO

  • Multiple medical providers

I have been repeatedly told:

  • “We cannot help you,”

  • “You don’t qualify,”

  • or I have been denied disability accommodations or discriminated against.

I cannot self‑navigate these systems due to my disability. I need coordinated support, not referrals.

Financial Disability Needs

I have not been able to work in any of my prior ways due to:

  • Cognitive regression

  • Speech regression

  • Executive dysfunction

  • Loss of access to my files and mail

  • Loss of workers’ compensation

  • Loss of employment

I need:

  • Disability benefits

  • Financial support

  • Administrative assistance

  • Help managing my business with accommodations

Family Medical Crisis

I am also navigating end‑of‑life circumstances with my grandparents out of town:

  • My grandfather is currently on a ventilator

  • My grandmother was recently hospitalized and is not well

This adds significant emotional and logistical strain.

What I Need Right Now

I need urgent, disability‑informed support, including:

  • A disability‑informed case manager

  • Help organizing documents and completing applications

  • Legal representation (especially for the October 7th trial)

  • ADA accommodations and deadline extensions

  • Housing support for both properties

  • Updated disability evaluation (Autism + neurological)

  • Personal injury legal evaluation

  • Administrative support for daily functioning

  • Financial disability assistance

  • Help navigating agencies that have denied me

Why I’m Sharing This

I am sharing this publicly because I cannot organize or communicate all of this verbally due to my disability. I need help, and I need people to understand the full picture.

If you are able to assist, connect me with resources, or advocate on my behalf, it would make a life‑changing difference.

Thank you for reading, for caring, and for supporting me through this extremely difficult time.

Hey There’s Dalyla

I need your Support.

I am in a lot of need. Yes, 2026 has been a series of misfortunate events and I have not known how to get help from those who care.

I’m overwhelmed and dealing with everything from being cyberhacked to being displaced, car accidents to unemployment, non-verbal now and a whole lot of disability discrimination (neurodivergence), oh right abuse and divorce and grief in there to …. and yes it all has affected my once blossoming business (htdandcompany.com) and it all is real personal because at it’s core HTD is just, well, me - my artist LLC. So yes, HTD needs your support and Dalyla (hey) needs a lot of help.

It is an incredibly rough season and I am just trying to get back on my feet, but I can’t do it alone. Let me know if you can support - scroll down, read in full, help a sistah get backon her feet!

I Need Help & Support — Disabled, Displaced, and Facing a Legal Deadline

I woke up today, August 29, and remembered that I have a jury trial in two weeks for a car accident that happened in May 2026 — along with related matters, including an assault case that was closed without investigation and without my knowledge.

The charge is “Failure to Yield.” The artist in me can’t help but see the poetic irony: this entire season of my life has been hardship that refuses to yield, and I’ve had no choice but to keep going. Not as a victim — as a survivor.

But the truth is: I cannot survive the weight of everything alone anymore. The challenges are large, complex, and compounding. I don’t even know where to begin in asking for help, so I’ll say it plainly:

I need a lot of help and a lot of support — urgently.

This situation is unlike anything I’ve ever faced, and I am terrified. I’m moving in faith to ask again.

Why I Need Disability‑Informed Support Immediately

I am disabled and currently unsupported in my disabilities. I am neurodivergent (ADHD, Autism, OCD) and under‑diagnosed, which means I am missing critical accommodations that previously allowed me to function and mask my disability.

Without those supports, my neurological symptoms have escalated into disabling conditions:

  • Non‑verbal periods and speech regression

  • Tics and stims

  • Sensory pain and sensitivity

  • Severe migraines

  • Executive dysfunction

  • Cognitive overload

  • Loss of functional capacity in daily tasks

These symptoms make basic tasks — phone calls, paperwork, organizing documents, accessing accounts, communicating clearly — extremely difficult or impossible without help.

I am sharing this because I need immediate, disability‑informed support to stabilize my life and prepare for my trial.

I Have Already Asked for Help — Many Times

Please know this is not my first ask.

I have reached out to every accessible place I could:

  • ER and medical providers

  • Advocacy organizations

  • DV and houseless shelters

  • Police departments and sheriffs

  • DA office

  • Attorneys and legal aid

  • FTC

  • DV and assault advocates

  • Churches

  • Friends, neighbors, strangers

  • Anyone whose business card I could pick up

I’ve asked over email, over phone, through others when I became non‑verbal, and in person when no one responded.

I am deeply grateful for those who have helped me. I know I am only here because of you. Thank you — truly.

But I still have not received the urgent support I need. I’ve been told:

  • “Sorry, we can’t help you.”

  • “I don’t know how to help you.”

  • “I am not willing to help you.”

I’ve even been discriminated against — including having police called on me while I was waiting for a doctor’s appointment or writing too slowly at the ER due to my non‑verbal disability.

I have asked repeatedly, in every way I know how. And I have prayed the entire way. My faith has been challenged and also rewarded — I am alive, and able to ask again.

Why This Is Even Harder Right Now

I have documentation and evidence, but much of it is inaccessible because:

  • I have been displaced from my home multiple times with little notice

  • I’ve had to move against my will with only a few bags

  • I lost access to digital devices and files due to ongoing cyber hacking

  • My business and employment were crushed by the hacking

  • I am financially strained

  • I am isolated from my social networks, both online and in person

I have been persistent and resourceful under conditions that make basic tasks impossible without support.

If You Can Help — Even One Hour Matters

If you can help in any of the ways listed above, or if you can connect me to someone who can, please reach out.

Even one ride, one phone call, or one hour of document‑sorting will change what I can do in the next two weeks.

Thank you for reading, and for any support you can offer.

How people can help quickly (actionable options)

Legal professionals: If you are an attorney, paralegal, or legal clinic able to take an urgent disability‑informed case, please contact me. I need representation and someone who will request accommodations from the court.

Advocates and case managers: If you can help organize documents, contact agencies, or serve as an on‑the‑ground advocate, I need that support now.

Friends, neighbors, faith communities: Offer a place to stay, help make my home safe to return, a ride, a quiet place to work, help making secure accounts or getting storage. Even one reliable hour of help to sort papers or make calls is huge.

Medical providers: If you can expedite a neurological evaluation or provide documentation of disability impacts, that will help with accommodations and legal credibility.

Anyone: Share this post with disability advocates, legal aid networks, and community organizations. A referral or connection can move things faster than cold calls.
